EarnLearn is responsible for workplace training in more than 20 industries. Through Gateway, the schools and EarnLearn together can build and maintain a pipeline of talented young people to keep these industries flourishing.
Gateway is perfect for senior high school students who are committed to taking the first steps into their career. It’s also a great opportunity for businesses to promote themselves to potential future staff, while educating them about the career options on offer.
Through the Gateway programme, EarnLearn works with its industries to:
Plumbers, gasfitters, and drainlayers keep our homes and communities running with essential services. If you enjoy practical problem-solving, working with your hands, and building a secure future, explore our PGD training pathways.
Electricians are at the heart of modern life, keeping technology and power systems running safely. If you’re curious, hands-on, and keen to solve real-world problems, discover how you can spark a career in electrical.
Scaffolders build the structures that support everything from housing to high-rises. If you like teamwork, heights, and creating the foundations for big projects, scaffolding could be your next step.
Project managers lead teams and keep projects on track from start to finish. If you’re organised, a good communicator, and enjoy seeing plans come together, project management could be your future.
Regulatory professionals uphold standards, ensure fairness, and help organisations do the right thing. If you care about integrity, problem-solving, and making a positive impact, regulatory practice might be for you.
Security professionals protect people, places, and property, responding calmly and keeping environments safe. If you want a career that’s hands-on, responsible, and community-focused, explore your pathway in security.
Business managers lead people, make decisions, and shape the success of organisations. If you’re driven by leadership, strategy, and helping others succeed, explore where business management can take you.
Schools enrol students into the Gateway programme with EarnLearn and cover the cost of the training. They also play an important role in supporting students to meet their training and assessment requirements, making sure learners stay on track and get the most out of the opportunity.
Employers provide the all-important workplace experience. They work with the school and student to agree on the best timing and schedule for on-site learning, then support the student in gaining practical skills while contributing to real work in their business.
EarnLearn ties everything together by providing course materials and pastoral care, managing enrolments and payments, and assigning an assessor. Our team offers guidance and support throughout the programme, ensuring students, schools, and employers all have what they need for a successful Gateway journey.
We want all our learners to have the skills and confidence to make the most of their training. If you need support with your learning, please get in touch!
